{"id":2366,"date":"2011-03-07T18:03:39","date_gmt":"2011-03-07T18:03:39","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/adjustedreality.com\/blog\/?p=2366"},"modified":"2011-03-10T03:50:12","modified_gmt":"2011-03-10T03:50:12","slug":"happy-monday-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/adjustedreality.com\/blog\/2011\/03\/07\/happy-monday-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Happy Monday!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>So I&#8217;m super behind.\u00a0 I now owe the internets a cruise recap (ffs, haven&#8217;t even had time to go through the pictures yet, and I&#8217;m only halfway through, thank goodness for notes I wrote or my little goldfish brain would forget what I did!), and now an awesome birthday weekend recap.\u00a0 The short version is I ate awesome food:<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone\" src=\"http:\/\/a4.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net\/hphotos-ak-snc6\/197312_10150116814094450_789139449_6170207_802000_n.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"432\" height=\"242\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&#8230;and drank good wine:<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone\" src=\"http:\/\/s3.amazonaws.com\/twitpic\/photos\/full\/253564783.jpg?AWSAccessKeyId=0ZRYP5X5F6FSMBCCSE82&amp;Expires=1299520134&amp;Signature=Sfy0RweXf5mcOiGuRgEU8n1ZAR0%3D\" alt=\"\" width=\"248\" height=\"442\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&#8230;and got purdy flowers:<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone\" src=\"http:\/\/a7.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net\/hphotos-ak-snc6\/183531_10150115211089450_789139449_6157702_5726592_n.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"242\" height=\"432\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&#8230;but now it is time to get back to business.\u00a0 Because yesterday, we got this guy a new bike&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone\" src=\"http:\/\/a2.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net\/hphotos-ak-ash4\/185667_10150117466849450_789139449_6177531_1861236_n.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"432\" height=\"242\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&#8230;and when we rode it, I felt like the little yippie dog trying to keep up with the german shepard, my legs and lungs were NOT ready for a 12 mile outside ride.\u00a0 I can only imagine what running is going to be like.<\/p>\n<p>So it&#8217;s time to get back to business this week.\u00a0 I&#8217;m not sick, I&#8217;m not injured, and it&#8217;s time to rock.\u00a0 This week, it&#8217;s back to normal, non-babypants workouts, if maybe a little lower intensity (I don&#8217;t want to kill myself, but I need to get back into things)<\/p>\n<p>Here&#8217;s the PLAN:<\/p>\n<p>Monday: swim (need one more day of low intensity, I feel like CRAP after all the birthday indulgence)<br \/>\nTuesday: run<br \/>\nWednesday: yoga<br \/>\nThursday: bike<br \/>\nFriday: off<br \/>\nSaturday: long bike ride, or medium ride and run outside<br \/>\nSunday: off<\/p>\n<p>This might shift around a bit as I&#8217;ll be trying to hit it outside as much as possible, I just want to make sure I get 4 good quality workouts + yoga this week.\u00a0 Distances, paces, times don&#8217;t matter.\u00a0 I&#8217;ll start worrying about that next week.<\/p>\n<p>The next couple months is getting busy.\u00a0 Potential spring schedule&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>March 19th &#8211; Warrior Dash<br \/>\nMarch 26th &#8211; Du Loop<br \/>\nEDIT: crap, just signed up for&#8230; April 17th &#8211; Rookie Triathlon<br \/>\nApril 30th &#8211; Hell Run<br \/>\nEDIT: crap, also want to do&#8230; May 14th &#8211; Muddy Buddy<br \/>\nMay 21st &#8211; Gladiator Games 5k and Obstacle Course<br \/>\nMay 28th &#8211; Spread your wings adventure race<br \/>\nJune 11th &#8211; Shammies and Koozies &#8211; ride and float<\/p>\n<p>Mostly fun races, but I am looking to beat my time at Warrior Dash, Du Loop, and GGs (though it&#8217;s my overall 5k PR &#8211; so I will have to work at it).<\/p>\n<p>I also really, really need to keep on this weight thing.\u00a0 Oddly enough, I feel like I LOST over the cruise, and GAINED this last week, and I felt LESS bloated there.\u00a0 So it&#8217;s definitely not dairy, gluten, wheat, or any of the regular offenders that I&#8217;m allergic to, as while I didn&#8217;t PIG, I definitely didn&#8217;t eat my normal rabbit food.\u00a0 I did eat lots of stuff that wasn&#8217;t light, diet, or low fat, so maybe there is something there&#8230;
