Instead of a weekly recap this week, since I’m sorta resting and relaxing, I figured I’d do the “end of the year” thing and put up some of my favorite posts and\/or posts about my favorite adventures.
\n<\/address>\n

One of my resolutions last year (and every year for the last 5 years is to have at least one super memorable experience per month.\u00a0 Here is where I make good on that!\u00a0 Considering I have the memory of a goldfish, it’s a good thing I blog about them!\u00a0 Below are some of my favorite moments and\/or blog posts this year…<\/p>\n

January:<\/p>\n

I realized I shared a dress size with Mariska Hargitay<\/a>, and that gave me huge confidence.<\/p>\n

I shared my wisdom with some non-obvious half marathon tips<\/a>.<\/p>\n

I offend everyone’s fashion senses<\/a>.<\/p>\n

I share my story<\/a> over the last 3 years.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

February:<\/p>\n

I ran a half marathon<\/a> sick as hell.<\/p>\n

Our lizard escapes death<\/a> by a narrow margin.<\/p>\n

March:<\/p>\n

We did the Urban Dare<\/a> race for my birthday.<\/p>\n

Then we did a different type<\/a> of half marathon.<\/p>\n

April:<\/p>\n

We did our first duathlon<\/a> and rocked it.<\/p>\n

I decided to change focus for the rest of the year from a marathon to a triathlon<\/a>.<\/p>\n

May:<\/p>\n

We conquered the warrior dash<\/a> (#1).<\/p>\n

Just had way too much fun to regularly post<\/a> with lots of out-and-about going on.<\/p>\n

Kicked ass and took names by getting PRs in the Gladiator Games.<\/a><\/p>\n

This month, Zliten and I both chopped our hairs<\/a>, just in time for summer.<\/p>\n

June:<\/p>\n

I got my official promotion to Producer and Zliten got his offer<\/a> to move over to our company with a real person salary again.<\/p>\n

Amy’s bachelorette party<\/a> was pretty super fun!<\/p>\n

July:<\/p>\n

Amy and Jeff’s wedding<\/a> was an awesome time and I even did a kegstand.<\/p>\n

Had an epiphany about a different path<\/a> my life could have taken.<\/p>\n

August:<\/p>\n

I kicked nature’s ass<\/a> with an open water swim.<\/p>\n

I became a triathlete<\/a> at the Sweet and Twisted Tri<\/a>.<\/p>\n

September:<\/p>\n

I wore my vinyl shorts out of the house for the yelp elite glitterati party<\/a>, and also got my mug in a (video game) magazine.<\/p>\n

We went to Vegas<\/a> to celebrate our friend’s birthday and our anniversary.<\/p>\n

I ran in costume at the Casa Superhero Run<\/a>.<\/p>\n

I dove off the side of a boat<\/a> into 100 ft deep water.<\/p>\n

October:<\/p>\n

I became an Olympic triathlete<\/a>.<\/p>\n

November:<\/p>\n

I rocked the second half marathon<\/a> and got a PR by 8 minutes<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Supergirl came out again and rocked the second warrior dash<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Finished up the 11th race of the year (Turkey Trot<\/a>) and reflected on them.<\/p>\n

I forgot to blog about it, but I got published again in a different magazine.<\/p>\n

December:<\/p>\n

Reflected on my resolutions<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Went to a snuggie party<\/a>!<\/p>\n

…and vacation is just getting started.\u00a0 The magic hat<\/a> is making it’s appearance again this week – looking forward to a week’s worth of adventures!\u00a0 No half training this year, so the world is our oyster!<\/p>\n

As for exercise, weight loss, and the like – that sort of serious business stuff will have to wait for after the new year.\u00a0 Rock climbing, skating, and trapeze classes are more my style this week.\u00a0 I hope everyone is having a wonderful holiday (I don’t count it as ending until I go back to work on the 3rd), and the rest of your 2010 is awesometastic!\u00a0 I’ll be back with resolutions later this week.<\/p>\n
