Keep up the awesome training momentum.\u00a0 Hit the last high mileage week.\u00a0 Taper well.\u00a0 Recovery is key.<\/p>\n<p><em>I trained really well.\u00a0 I tapered well.\u00a0 I didn&#8217;t even really hit my normal taper madness until 2 days before.\u00a0 Success!<\/em><\/p>\n<p>2. Eat the number of calories fitbit says to eat, and track diet quality.\u00a0 Try to lay off the sweets and eat lots of nutritious foods.\u00a0 If I can lose 1 lb per week, I can run this marathon close to 170, that would be nice.\u00a0 Take my digestive enzymes.<\/p>\n<p><em>Marathon training is never time to lose weight.\u00a0 I just need to accept.\u00a0 Also, a week of family cooking for us that was not my normal healthy did not help this initiative, nor thanksgiving or vacation indulgences, but that&#8217;s ok.\u00a0 I didn&#8217;t gain weight, I didn&#8217;t lose weight.\u00a0 I&#8217;ll call that a win for the circumstances.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>3. Sew something.\u00a0 Anything.<\/p>\n<p><em>OMG, YES!\u00a0 I mended a bunch of things, plus made a remote holder for the bedroom.\u00a0 I feel a LOT more comfortable with the sewing machine after that session.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>4. Finish the current book, start another.\u00a0 This should be a done deal since I\u2019m traveling.<\/p>\n<p><em>I&#8217;ll cheat because I read it technically in December, but I finished that book and another.\u00a0 I need to start the next series now!<\/em><\/p>\n<p>5. Frame some of the art that\u2019s sitting in the tube in the closet.<\/p>\n<p><em>Hell yeah!\u00a0 We got about 1\/3 of it done and even hung.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>6. Go through my cold weather clothes and put away\/give away the stuff I don\u2019t like.\u00a0 Hit up the thrift store and get some stuff I like better.<\/p>\n<p><em>Done and done.\u00a0 Sadly, I have more clothes than hangers now, but I&#8217;m happywith my winter wardrobe!<\/em><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/macromeme.com\/cat\/call-you-later-high.jpg\" width=\"384\" height=\"230\" \/><\/p>\n<p>7. Writing: work on my savage worlds story, and write non-status report blog posts.<\/p>\n<p><em>I wrote one or two blogs that weren&#8217;t status reports, but I did ZERO work on my story.\u00a0 Boo.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>8. Get my hair trimmed\/layers redid.\u00a0 Cut Zliten\u2019s hair, it\u2019s a mess!<\/p>\n<p><em>Fail.\u00a0 I actually did decide intentionally not to do my hair because it&#8217;s now long enough that I have convinced myself I like it long, which I will maintain until about Feb\/March to where I get kinda grumpy when I&#8217;m getting ready and can&#8217;t figure out why, and then I realize I&#8217;m over my hair, which should have been apparent because it&#8217;s been tied back for the greater part of the last few months.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Zliten&#8217;s now has grown out to be interesting as well, though it does need a clean up even if we don&#8217;t decide to keep it long.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>9. Swim at least once, I shouldn\u2019t go two months without hitting the pool.<\/p>\n<p><em>Ermmmm, I swam on vacation (in December).\u00a0 I haven&#8217;t done actual laps yet.\u00a0 Maybe this month.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>10.\u00a0 Try to use up the food that\u2019s already here instead of buying stuff.\u00a0 My fridge and freezer are bursting with stuff and I keep going out and buying new stuff to cook.<\/p>\n<p><em>Sort of.\u00a0 The fridge and freezer have been cleaned out and are pissing me off way less.\u00a0 This should happen more often.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>11.\u00a0 It\u2019s almost vacation time!\u00a0 Get together a list of stuff for Florida (restaurants, things to do, packing list, etc).<\/p>\n<p><em>Yeah.\u00a0 Not a problem there. \ud83d\ude42<\/em><\/p>\n<p>12.\u00a0 Drink more water.\u00a0 I\u2019m not as good about this in the colder months, and if I forget about it too much, I get chapped lips.<\/p>\n<p><em>Ehhhh, sort of.\u00a0 My chapped lips went away but I&#8217;m not sure that I really did all that well with this.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>13.\u00a0 Between more work deadlines and family obligations, make sure to take enough time to relax and destress.\u00a0 Don\u2019t let shit get to ya, woman.<\/p>\n<p><em>Well, I destroyed a wall because I got stressed and hormonal.\u00a0 However, I felt pretty freaking calm the day after and learned how to fix a wall, so&#8230; maybe a split between a fail and a win there? \ud83d\ude42<\/em><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/www.memestop.com\/images\/scratchy-tag.jpg\" width=\"300\" height=\"372\" \/><\/p>\n<p>December is almost half over, but I&#8217;ve kept this one up all year, so let&#8217;s roll with it.<\/p>\n<p>1.\u00a0 It&#8217;s the holidays, so this is not going to be perfect, but most of the time, let&#8217;s stay away from sugar, refined carbs, fried food, and other junk.\u00a0 I&#8217;d like to end this month no heavier than 175.<\/p>\n<p>2.
